There are certain instances, usually in cases of chronic ailments, where it is advantageous to apply clay and cabbage poultices alternately. Since we know that clay disperses and cabbage draws together, the alternating actions will produce effects similar to those of a counter-irritation. This is often desirable in chronic rheumatic and arthritic conditions.

There are a number of things you can do to combat ‘spring fever’ successfully. First of all, practise more physical and breathing exercises. It was in the 1950s when I met Black Eagle, the chief of the Sioux Indians.
